There are few settings more magical in all of Sioux Falls than Falls Park in December — the frozen waterfall, the twinkling lights, the crisp winter air. And on the evening of December 20th, from 6–8 PM, The Siouxville Grinch made it even more memorable with a public meet-and-greet at the Falls Overlook Café.
An Unforgettable Evening
Families poured in from across the Sioux Falls area for the chance to meet the Grinch against the stunning backdrop of Falls Park. The line stretched out the door and around the corner — but nobody seemed to mind. The anticipation alone was half the fun.
Little ones clutched their parents' hands nervously as they approached the tall, green, grumpy-looking figure — only to dissolve into giggles the moment he crouched down to their level and let out one of his signature exasperated sighs.
The Perfect Holiday Setting
The Falls Overlook Café provided an incredible atmosphere for the evening. Hot drinks, warm lights, and the sound of the falls in the background — with a Grinch photobombing every family portrait. It doesn't get more Sioux Falls than that.
