Some stops on the Grinch's December tour hit a little differently. The holiday visit to Opportunities Unlimited in Sioux City on December 19th at 1 PM was one of those moments that reminds you exactly why this work matters.
A Special Kind of Magic
Opportunities Unlimited provides vital employment, training, and community services for adults with disabilities in the Siouxland region. Walking through those doors with the full Grinch character on — fur, face paint, the works — and seeing the reactions of the staff and guests was something truly unforgettable.
The smiles were instant. The laughter was contagious. And more than a few people got up for hugs that the Grinch very dramatically pretended to resist before giving in completely.
